Drinking on the job ?

WCF

Help Support WCF:

Can only think of one time ab oldtimer handed me a beer and said, for your lunch.

I chucked in the back of the car, think drinking and work close/work is a no-go.

I have one day where the work is well priced and compact and I've done a full days money by 1pm. So I stop at the local pub for a half /emoticons/smile.png

I never drink alcohol while working.yet it ceases to amaze me, that you get some who do!!!local tradders drinking special brew or tennants super, and yet they don't seem to be drunk

Never. Dosnt put a good image over if you smell of booze. Got a m8 does odd job's gardening painting ect holds down a good job as well. Don't know how he does it. He's a total stoner. Smokes the green all day an boy does that stink.

I love a drink,mostly London Pride.but never whilst cleaning.

When I was welding,it was normal to put a bit of whisky in ya coffee.

Can't imagine it would be much fun up a ladder half cut,but if I finished early then a pub stop is going to be on the cards.

few years ago a customer paid me ,then offered me a large whiskey . i downed it in one ,went strate to my head as i then asked him for my money

he soon got sh/tty !

Nope. 5 or 6 pints on a Wednesday night in the darts team, apart from that nothing.........except the tons that are consumed every weekend. I love binge drinking, and don't mind admitting it

When I was living in London years ago me and another local windiy used to have pub lunches

Up a ladder after 3 stella's is a bit iffy as tou don't fear falling

Work and drink not to be mixed. I clean two micro breweries and a local cider press. Be rude not to have one when in there. Just leave them to last in the day.

Must say personally that i love to have a few brews  , when its off-duty . I get totally lazy and thats a bad Mix . I Also agree that the booze-smell is easily picked up by a custy and puts Out a bad Vibe ..:hey:

last year after lunch i pulled a 3 point turn in my van and stalled it,eventually lurched away -then saw a cop car right behind me . i sensed what he was thinking "that ol windies had a skinful for lunch ,now cant handle his van, lets have him in "

so he pulled me over ,and i staggered out of the van

while breathalyzing me i told him what iv taken to drinking is those slush drinks . "what, kiddies drinks u mean?"

yes,yes thats it,bloomin lovely they are . his face was a picture! [iv got a right t/t here!]

drinking and driving? no chance these days - when i was younger we used to go up town and one of us would always drink a dozen pints and drive back, fkin insane thinking about it now but it was a long time ago

not really bothered about drinking, used to be out every week on the lash but its rare i drink at all these days, if i do ever buy a crate or get one given ill drink a few everyday until there gone then not touch it again for months. Cant remember last time i bought beer, got some for crimbo i think. Think its because getting drunk in the house does nothing for me just end up depressed, when i get drunk i want to out to town,

I've just had 2 lol

Gone are the days when I'd be driving back from bagleys or Camden palace after 3 disco biscuits, a few beers and copious amounts of the funny fags because i was the most sober one

The things we do as young uns eh

I agree totally with that. The fun in drinking is being out on the town. I've never seen the crack of drinking tins indoors, much rather pop into my local and socialise whilst having a beer or ten

I prefer my mash at home! , when i get sleapy its only 7 m away .. /emoticons/biggrin.png

When we,re Out , wifey drives  Half a beer and shes done !
