Pole hose comparison

Gardiners green p/hose with Rhino tube,are they both pu rather thanpvc?Never seen or felt eighter.Thanks

If your using a univalve stay well away from rhino hose. It’s wayyyyyy too stretchy. Coupled with hot water (if you have it) and you’ll have no chance. I personally feel rhino hose is quite possibly the most over rated pile of ? I’ve ever wasted my money on. Gardiner’s have been dangling a carrot of a new pole hose to be released but the last time I looked it still wasn’t in stock. The green is good stuff though.

Only ever used streamline pole hose, its great so never needed to look elsewhere.

Best pole hose we have used is ionics orange and exceed Inovation blue both are excellent with hot or cold water we won’t use anything else , having tried the other manufacturers stuff it’s no ware near as good .

Pjj, what is the memory like on these two as i'm looking for something that will lay straight. I'm using the univalve with an optional hot water system.

They can make fly fishing line with no memory (so it lays straight) every time, even though it may have been on a small coil of 100 or 200 meters for many months if not years, so I don't see why someone cant do it with pole hose.

The blue exceed hose in my experience has no memorie laysflat never had a problem with it , I use it on both my vans one van is hot water the other is cold water , the ionics orange hose is stiffer than the exceed with cold water , and does sometimes coil up on the ground but doesn’t cause a problem , with hot water it’s a bit stiffer than the exceed hose but doesn’t coil up and lays flat , have used both of these hoses for years it’s the only stuff I would consider using I have tried most other manufacturers hose and none come near theses two as far as Ime concerned
