whats your thoughts guys the pole is spinning on the clamps, so i decided to lacquer
the pole and give the area with most wear more coats.
Must say no the best still spinning dont know if its **** lacquer got it from halford
maybe left it to long until i bothered to do the maintenance.
i,ve changed two sections just wondered what do you guys do, can you use special tape

Always found Halfords Lacquer to be **** i got mine from a local car parts place that supplies paint to body shops , I only spray mine on warm sunny day to ensure its fully dry and cured , But to be honest if a light coating hasn't sorted the issue building up layers could result with lacquer flaking off over time .

I generally just do light coatings to prevent any future issues with wear on pole sections .
