Poor Unger Resin in the Starter kit From WCW

I bought a Starter kit for about £600.
A bigboy , Unger Di Vessel and a Phantom pole.

I could hardly get the tds below 20 no matter how fast the flow rate.

Window Cleaning Warehouse said it was only a demo resin in the vessel and wouldn't last long.

I cant understand why the resin isn't new in a separate new tub and not sent out still in the vessel as it must have been used?

Have you spoke to wcw about it?. I tend to get all my stuff from there without shopping around for the reason that they have corrected things that's went wrong swiftly. In my circumstances by rights they needed to but have dealt with companies before who try drag it out in the hope you get fed up and go away. Any time I've had a problem with them it's been sorted.

If your tap tds is into the 100's then you won't ever get it down to 000ppm with resin

Unger resin struggles with water from the tap that is over 100 ppm unless you have a large vessel. Tulsion and Purolite can handle this.

Unger resin is low grade resin, stay away from Unger resin and always go for Tulsion instead.

I've just replaced my double di with unger hope it last a while my TDs is under 100
