Only worked out 50 litres so nothing really have kept 25 litres back to dip my flock brush in a bucket to rinse out each night.

Truely understand that , i was very strict on my water at first , and i change my resin when it climbs up , but i dont measure it Daily anymore . Maybe 1 a week . Im RO at first Down to 15 and DI the rest Down to 0 of course . But im confident that anything under 8 is not visible to the human eye. And im sure you could go even higher... Dont wanna try though;)
