Don't use M22 fittings as they suffer work hardening and fatigue plus wear the threads out with the grit and dirt.

Don't know how you had a failure if using quick release

Get some stainless steel ARS 19.9mm fittings that are quick release

Also take your knackered hose to a hose and hydraulic specialist and get a new fitting crimped on

I tried to get new fittings put on a hose by a hydronic specialist a while ago and they refused to do it as they said they could not guarantee the integrity of the hose and they would be liable if it broke under pressure, said that the law had changed on hose repairs ? Ended up having to buy new hoses !,

Get the Nilfisk version - much better quality and last 7 or 8 times longer due to the rubber collar.
remember before each connection dab in a touch of silicone grease for trouble free connecting and disconnect

M22 connections are just painful!

my local cleaning supply shop repairs ends no problem - but I won't repair a hose if blown in the middle - time to get rids-l960.jpg

It's odd how lots of heavy equipment 2000 Psi plus hydraulic hoses get repaired on sites across the country. I've not experienced any issues with pressure washing hoses being repaired

I tried purtech and a local pressure washing shop both said the same thing , they said they could make up new hoses but not allowed to repair existing ones , when I was in the motor trade we used to replace the ends ourselves but guess times have changed šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

I couldn't get mine repaired at my local shop either.. Only sell me a new one. Suppose they make more money out of a new one.
