How do diffrent people price diffrent windows?

you have your normal three part window with three diffrent bits of glass in a row.
how do you charge in comparison if it is leaded, or georgin, or the horrable modern cross bars stuck on it?

I am sure this has been done before but i can't find a thread on it.

    cheers

pricing is such a dificult one to do per windows as i have windows that can be done in 30 seconds and them other that can take a few mins,

some say £1. a window others say £1.50. depends what part of the uk your in.

i price on time, although i got a new job today and prices it wrong....! i quoted 10 for the front and 8 for the back as it had twice as many windows on the front,

but the back ending up talkiing longer then the front......as back windows wasnt easy to get too

I'll solve that for mate......just swap your figures around......8 for the front and 10 for the back.....
At least your getting more for the back than you are for the front :Image9: :Image13: :Image13: .

I always work on time per window. I know how long each window will take in my head. I use a simple quote form and then walk round with it and tot it all up. Works a treat.

I always add an extra £3 on then. I then deduct it showing customer and give em a£3 discount.

You can underprice work by being rushed by the customer. I jumped in last week and said next door is £12 so will you be. Luckily it's easier. But then she wants every 10 weeks.
