We use EZ snap 8mm hose tails with our minibore hose.

EZ Snap™ Female End Stop Coupling - Minibore - 8mm Barb - EZ Snap Hose Connectors - Professional Hose Connectors - Hose Fittings & Adapters - Pump & Hose - All Products Gardiner Pole Systems

We then use 6mm tails for the pole hose.

EZ Snap™ Male Plug - Microbore - 6mm Barb - EZ Snap Hose Connectors - Professional Hose Connectors - Hose Fittings & Adapters - Pump & Hose - All Products Gardiner Pole Systems

although there is the option of 5mm male barbs as well.
