Hello all, I have just started up my own business and just trying to get the pricing right. I know it varies a lot but I am based in Southampton using wfp and I am charging £30 for a first clean. Is this about right do you think? Any comments would be appreciated

Depends on the size of the house I suppose. I couldn't get away with charging £30 for a first clean on a two bedroom council house but I could on a three or four bedroom detached house. If your customers are happy to pay £30 and you're happy to earn £30 then it all sounds good.

I gave up being competitive and became the most expensive around.

Having to fight them off with a stick. :))

    Perfect Windows Pricing

His business is growing. Vin set up his business just before the 2008 recession hit us. His belief back then was that customers will pay extra for a good, honest, reliable window cleaning service that does a 100% job each time.

The trigger to set up his business was the window cleaner they employed before then. Vin was in the bath one morning when their windie came rattling his ladders. He did the usual trad trick and missed the bathroom window. Vin open the window and wiped his finger on the outside and it was black so he never cleaned it.

At the front door the cleaner argued that he had cleaned the window, so he got paid and fired.
