Hi again everyone.

I have a diy pump box like jimmyboots made up.

Im going to buy a reel and buy microbore hose.

Anyone know of what I will need to make this complete fittings etc hose size.

You might have guessed im not familiar with setting it up and whats needed.

Lol

You will need to make a list of what you have/need with the hose sizes written down for each item.

Start at your pump and work towards the pole. Fill in the sizes on the parts that you already have.

-----

Pump: = outlet hose size=

Hose from pump to hose reel: = inlet hose size=

Hose reel: inlet hose size=

Hose on the reel: hose size

The end of the hose reel: Rectus21 End Stop fitting (stop laughing) : =

Hose Tail on water fed Pole hose:

------

So you should end up with a list that looks something like this when filled out,

------

Pump: = outlet =12.5mm garden hose

Hose from pump to hose reel: = =12.5mm garden hose

Hose reel: Inlet Size=12.5mm garden hose with Hozelock connector

Hose on the reel := Minibore 8mm

The end of the hose reel: Fit a Rectus21 mini End Stop fitting with an 8mm barb

Hose Tail on water fed Pole hose: Rectus21 mini hose tail with a 6mm barb

------

If your list ends up like that then you will need

Some 12.5mm garden type hose (to go from pump outlet to hose reel inlet)

A garden hose Hozelock connector (to connect pump hose to the hose reel)

A hose reel with 100M of minibore 8mm hose on it

A rectus21 mini End Stop connector (to go on the end of the hose reel)

A rectus21 mini hose tail (to go on the pole hose, to plug into the reel).

You will need some jubilee clips (or use 'O Clips' there much better)

Your gear connects together in this order.

Van tank, or 25litre barrels

Pump

Hose reel

End stop connector

Hose tail

Pole hose

Brush

Tell us if it makes sense?

ill get that done on sunday

Additionally, you could add a small TAP near the end of your pole hose, so that you can save water and stop running back to the van every time you wanna turn it off.

Otherwise you could be "losing lots of water running back and forth to turn of pump box."

Or if you follow the instruction in my previous post with the list, you can simply unplug the pole at the rectus21 fittings.
