    It's the newbie again...

So.. I have my heater that I plug into the mains in the winter to keep the inside warm.
I bought a little oil heater but it wasn't that great. It hardly heated the van up at all.
Then I bought a hot air blower and that really did the trick.
But what happens if there is a power cut or I have to go somewhere one night when it's really cold.

Are there any good heating options that anyone here uses that doesn't require being plugged into the mains but kicks out enough heat?

Webesto desiel heaters do cost alot of money but hardly use any deisel so costs less in long run when looking at it like that, so much better then electric heaters which can cost affortune in electricity....

thing with deisel heater it uses deisel from van tank and all this takes my mind off of my van at night

I have a second 20 litre diesel tank in the back of my van that fuels the webasto 9kw. But it doesn't seem like brilliant idea having that running all night.

    i dont have a garage :(
    So I'm stuffed?

And having a garage is only helpful if you have a second car when you want to go out at night in the winter.

good grief, I just watched that video.
So that's a second webasto heater fitted to the van just to keep it warm. How much would that cost?!
