R.O growling noise

Good evening windies. 

Ive posted on here recently about my TDS reading 47 before d.i on my in-line metre, yet 009 on my handheld.

Ive just popped into my garage and heard my R.O making a growling type noise. No water was going into my I.b.c tank and the reading on the inline metre was 057!

I pulled the hose off the d.i and the growling instantly stopped and the water started coming out the hose.

Ive reconnected the hose to the d.i and now it’s working and reading 007 before d.i.

Any ideas what’s causing this please?
