Had my aqua-dapter for approx 6 months and the little spring at the top of unit broke today. Fortunately able to fix, but a bit of a pain. Anyone else had similar?

My son also broke his today. I just carefully bend the last coil up vertically from just past 180 degrees from the break so it looks the same as the original although fractionally smaller. Worked for him all day. I had a spare spring at home so gave it to him and we will see how long this modified spring lasts.Had my aqua-dapter for approx 6 months and the little spring at the top of unit broke today. UpdateUpdate;
The 'repaired' spring lasted 3 weeks and then broke again. It broke on the other end this time though.
The point is that if you get caught with a broken spring and no spare, you can repair it and it should last long enough until a replacement is delivered.
