I have very low water pressure so have been using a booster pump to increase the water pressure to 3.5 bar for my Merlin 720 GPD system. I have a 1000 litre tank I fill with tap water and the pump & RO system filters the water into another 1000 litre tank. The system isn't working properly for some reason and is costing me money to replace the filters on an unusually regular basis. Plus it's frustrating having to fill a tank with tap water before I can filter anything.
Can anyone recommend an RO system I can use to filter water directly from the mains? My tapwater has a TDS reading of 258PPM and the pressure is about 0.5 to 1 BAR. I need to filter around 2500 litres of water a week.
Ideally I'd like a system I can leave on most of the time over the weekend and fill both 1000 litre tanks.
Any suggestions?
