Does anyone know how I can create, what equipment I need, to create an auto shutoff when by ibc is full.

I want to be able to leave my tap turned on into my RO but when the tank is full automatically close the feed of water in the RO to off.

Hope this makes sense.

Any help appreciated.

This is a static system at home by the way.

hi h&w,a simple ballcock in the ibc would suffice in turning the flow off, providing theres no booster pump installed in the stystem it should work fine

Thanks for the reply@kevinc250

Wouldn’t the waste continue to flow though with just a ballcock?

I won’t be using a booster pump as tap pressure is very good.

Mine has a solenoid when the tank is full it hits the solenoid and shuts the system down.I have a booster pump on mine so everything shuts down automatically when full including waste.Have a look on pure freedom that's where mine is from.

Is it possible to put some sort of shut of between my tap and the pre filters? As a won’t be having a booster pump.

Thanks for your reply@cghwindowcleaning

This is how I do auto stop in my van. You can apply the principle, and put the solenoid inline with your tap, and the float valve in the ibc. Job done.

Cost me about £5 and some wiring and extra hose, without the waterproof box.
