Ro V Di Vessel

Which is the cheaper option? I know it's like saying how long is a piece of string... I live in a soft water area so we just use the di vessel (2x 11ltr) for our system.

I have also got a 600gdp ro system which I have not used yet due to the location of my property and parking the vans... long story...

So what do you guys think, is an RO system cheaper than just having di's?
