Top tip. Don't do it off a ladder if you value your life!

Use a scaffold tower much safer and far easier working from a platform rather than a ladder hire costs vary but should be between £50-75 per day , week hire will be less .

Depends what surface you have it on on gravel it’s hard work mkvjng it but grass.  Tarmac, or concrete it’s fine , sometimes you might need tk take it apart to fit through a side gate but once you are used to assembling them it’s reasonably quick but it’s easier with two people to be honest , but when doing this type of work lone working isn’t really recommended and a risk assessment will usually dictate  two people .

Do you recon you can work off a roof ladder and also do you scrape or ,?

You can work off a roof ladder and scrape but it’s far easier from a scaffold tower and much safer

Took delivery of Q-Clear (Algaecide) £37 for 5 litres and you dilute it 10 to 1. Not sure how good it is but it says it gives 6 to 12 months protection. Bought it from TM Chemicals in Yorkshire.

I have a small tiled porch roof so I'm going to give it a spray and take a few photos and report back on Q-Clear.
