Bought an ettore handle, channel and rubber
trouble is the rubber keeps falling out when the sqeegee is turned sideways.
    Do I
one - sqeeze the sides of the aluminium channel in to hold the rubber
two - buy something to hold the rubber in

    help appreciated
    cheers

    :)

Three; buy an Unger Ergotec handle and channel. Don't know about Ettore stuff, but the Unger has a spring action with teeth that grip the rubber blade.

Some of ettore channels come with end clips that keeps the rubber in place.

    Flog it on eBay.

Here's the link for Unger handle http://www.wintecs.co.uk/catalog/unger-ergotec-squeegee-handle-p-64.html?cPath=57_148

    Unger S channel http://www.wintecs.co.uk/catalog/unger-schannel-1230cm-hard-rubber-p-56.html?cPath=57_22

For a little over a tenner, you'll have quality gear that lasts. Also, if you buy the 12" channel, buy a stock of 36" rubbers, so you can cut them to size when needed. It's a cheaper way of doing it

ERM when I had an ettore it had two little clip things on each end that kept rubber In place. You could dog ear it which would help and also a handy thing to do anyway.
