Scotch locks...

Stupid question time:

I'm using scotch locks to connect my wiring for van system. Do I put both wires in the same 'tube' inside the scotch lock, or one in the bottom and one in the top?

And I need to strip the wire first yea?

Hope that makes sense.

Scotch locks are horrible things mate. You would be better off using tube terminals and crimping the wires in there then wrapping in insulation tape. But if you really want to use 'the electricians fiend' then no worries about stripping the cable as the little teeth break the insulated sleeving but make sure only one cable goes in each slot.
Ok cheers. There's one slot that's blocked off at one end, then underneath a slot that goes all the way through, that's what's confusing me. So is it one on top and on below?
