Scratched Glass

I have a customer who has asked me if I can get some scratches out of a bedroom window, not had a ladder up there yet to see severity of them, anyone recommend best method to try?

Check a product called Glassrenu . Its a product for scratch removal and an option for add-on to your bussines. Its great for acid etching , lighter scratches and limescale. Its tricky to learn but check out Their videos on the tube.

I watched a guy recently he said it's easy

Used a pink paste with a drill and pad attachment

I personally wouldn't bother mate. If you end up grazing the glass you could have them blaming you for making it worse and trying to get you to pay for new.

Its not always that easy . That pink paste is actually Cerium Oxide ,it can be a white compound too. Sold by many companies.

If the scratch is light ,it can sometimes be polished off with polish compound and a felt pad on a grinder or drill. But most of the times it has to be both grounded and polished out. It's a tricky trade to learn and a lot of cheap crap kits are sold. I can only recommend Glassrenu . Downside is that it's level limited,and pretty expensive. I would never do the work from a ladder and without proper training .
