ok so where am i going wrong?

If water.jpg is the adjusted one then this is better. What you are doing is restricting the water going to the drain to put more pressure on the membranes. You will be pushing out more pure so it will take less time to fill your tank.

If you open your waste totally to drain you will get hardly any pure from the r/o.

My 4040 at 50psi HF5 membrane delivers about 120 liters of pure to about 120 liters of waste an hour. So it will take me approx 5 hours to fill that tank.

the adjusted one is pic two (right photo) less pure loads more more waist as you can see, i recall the bosses van water trickle in to the tank but mine was lot faster but i though this was due to a new set up in my van hope this sorts the problem now,
