Self cleaning glass

Hi folks i have been asked to clean a very large new build on a monthly basis there are lots of large windows and they are all self cleaning glass,am i ok to clean them with wfp or is there something i should be aware of, i have never cleaned self cleaning glass before.

i know thats what i thought but the custy said its not that good so he wants it cleaning once a month,who am i to argue about it,its another good job for me

Id just wfp the lot but if any paths watch for ice and grit the paths after better safe as sorry

Self cleaning glass is a dream using WFP, it sheets like the Niagra Falls /emoticons/smile.png

with self cleaning glass a soft brush is best like a tecbuk black or a gardner flocked or soft hibrid i r not spose to trad self cleaning glass as it can damage the teflone coat

Of course it'll be fine, don't even think about it, I do loads of self cleansing glass, and my approach is no different to normal windows

u can use any soft brush but no kems m8

Yep just clean as normal.i do a few self cleaning my ar#s

self cleaning glass isn't self cleaning as such..don't ask. Don't use virosol etc, just pure and a soft brush.

It was just a marketing gimmick to sell windows. Its just basically smooth glass. There is a technical word but who cares just clean it like you clean all other windows.

Don't use a scraper or the edge of your brush to remove any baked on bird lime.

Pilkington Glass say you can use soap such as dish washing liquid.

I do a few, just wfp like everything else.
