Selling My Round

Hi i'm looking to sell my window cleaning business. My 6 weekly work is about £1600, my 2 monthly work is about £1800, my three monthly work is about £350 and i have about £400 of knocks, they usually have a clean every other time i'm in area. Does anyone no how i can calculate the monthly average value???

I would say you should advertise you round as a turnover of approx £2250 a month

this is without gutters, con roof's etc, i was thinking of advertising it for about £12k

i'm based in mid devon area but work goes as far as north devon, it's a good round with great customers.

Ah O.K unfortunately I dont have any clients in devon but Ill keep my ears peeled, have you tried ebay. Or any of the other forums

you work at your yearly takings then divide by 12

for example 1880 x 6 /12

1660 x 10 / 12

and so on

is asking 12k a fair price, the round is expanding and has great potentiol

I've been asking similar question about price of rounds before.General feeling is possibly 3/4 x monthly monies for the round.You don't say how long you've had it or if your selling van/equipment.For the round only, 12k would be expensive, more like 6.5/7k !!

yh i agree, 6.5k would be about right, how long has it been established, also you need to appreciate that the work is very dis-jointed time wise, some 6 weeks, some 8, some every few months, some knocks, which makes it difficult to service, especially if whoever is interested has work already they want to fit this around

If i could convert more of the work to 6 weekly then that would help boost the value? It would come with various bits of equipment, ladders etc, i have a berlngo van worth about £1000 aswell.
