Black Inky seals

Did a house yesterday that the seals always leak black inky muck however not the slightest hint of a black run windows the same only 2 things have changed.

1/ using fishscale cloths but don't think that would make a difference

2/ using a splash of Lidl rinse aid and squeegee off.

Or I just had a lucky day any thoughts .

Not 100% sure what mean. Are you saying this is a house you clean regularly and all of a sudden the seals have stopped leaking?

Might the customer have had just the window seals replaced?

Sorry meant to go in trad section yes stopped leaking and no not had seals replaced
