When you first started how did you fellas go about shuffling your custy? Like if you had one on the 1st two 10th one 15th ans so oni, you get my drift?, how did you get them to the same day say if the were a week or so apart so you were getting a full days work. No the best explanation but hopefully you get what I mean.

    Cheers

From what I can remember Paul it was quite tricky and took a long time to arrange it all properly. I gave out letters at times explaining that I'm shuffling the rounds about at the moment for the most effective diesel saving costs etc. nobody minded as long as I kept them in the loop.

I had an easier time there mate, as i started by buying a large chunk of an existing round. But when i take on new customers i tell them it is 'approx' per calander month, this way i have a little flexibility to juggle things around to suit me. I wouldnt go mad with it, but 2 or 3 days either end of the date i did them last month is fine, and so far, never had any 'comments' about it from customers!. If you are doing them per 4 weeks, you are under a lot more presure to try and make sure you do them when the customer is expecting you, i.e, every 4th thursday or whatever.

i dont get hols in the summer, and would rather sit in the house when weather is cold, plus i have noticed it is the worst time of year to get paid of custys, get lots of can i pay double next month, so i just do the ones who i know pay and the rest wait till after my hols

Say if you cleaned their house monthly Paul and you wanted to slot them into a different round, just give them the next clean date even if it's 6-7 weeks away. This way you are still communicating with your customers and not losing them.
