The gardiner gooseneck you have is the newer version where the pole hose connects to the bottom then there is a built in JG and a short hose to the brush jets splitter. The ones you have seen on teh video are the older goosenecks where the pole house used to pass through them directly to the brush jet splitter. The problem with teh old ones is people used to fit a univalve and pull the pole hose and yank the brush jets.Basically to fit a univalve you just cut the pole hose about 12" below the gooseneck and insert it there - simple as that.To change brushes I just disconnect the small hose at the jet splitter.
