Snail Trails- How to Clean

What’s everyone’s methods for cleaning them off the glass? Do you find that purified water alone is enough or do you use any chemical? And if you just use water do you double wash?

Hot water removes them quickly, but of using cold that will remove them but will take longer , a Virosol or other brand of cleaner will help remove it .

Never seemed to have a problem with them but maybe because I use hot water.

I don't really do anything apart from a normal scrub..seems to come off fine.

Yep, scrub is key ? I accept that 2 strokes extra may be required with cold water though ?

I scrub them with a wet brush but not with the water flowing as this seems to cause the brush to glide over them instead of removing them.

Same here, or if they are a pain I just leave them and the magically disappear as the glass dries ?

Some people I know say they mark the glass if left but I don't have that problem.

Sometimes I don't bother to try and remove them lol.

Apart from hot water being more user friendly in the winter I did noticed it removed snail trails slightly easier than cold that was the only benefit I could find using hot water.

Been using the extreme tapertec brush for a bit now and find it very effective.

I find using a brush that has softer and more tightly packed bristles helps alot. If a window is really mucky I'll spray a little degreaser and let it sit for 5 minutes while i finish the other windows.

As @Marko067 says scrub with wet brush with water turned off. Also brushing in a circular motion seems to help.

Try scrubbing in a circular motion they come off easier for some reason ??‍

Must say I’ve toyed with that idea, or a variation of it.

When I encounter them I put my hands together, say a prayer and or magic spell. They then come magically without even having to scrub them. You guys who scrub scrub scrub are completely wasting your time.
