Ppm of rainwater??

Has anyone ever tested it and what were your results?

Also, if waste water from ro is around 200ppm, would it be advisable to run it through a di then into the tank?

just got the ppm for the rain water round here and it was 37 thats pretty good seems as out of the tap its 360 round here that could be put into 25 litre barrels threw a filter to take any dedbury out and then pumped straight from a trolly with a ro attached or just pumped out of a water buut threw a di its definately got me thinking

Not that there will be a hosepipe ban up where I live , but now We use about 700 litres a day, me ro can't cope. I plug my van in at 4pm and by 8am its somewhere near, lol

my folks house have a perfectly clean slate roof and immaculate guttering , the water falls in to the clean tank with a small sediment filter. On average the water is 013. the lowest i have had is 006. i even tried one batch on the window of the house without filtering and it wasnt that bad..the water coming off the roof in my house is junk its 054 -060 . i dont have a filter on it yet and my roof is not as clean as theirs if that makes any difference

My tap is 125ppm and my water butt in the garden is 7ppm, at what point is it classed as hard water ?

Think it's over 250 I heard someone say.

My rainwater is 008. Straight off my shed roof through the dirty guttering.

If you have some spare dosh and need to fill up asap contact Purefreedom for one of their booster pumps. I can fill my 350l tank in an hour.

Aren't them booster pumps 80psi? As my tap water is about 80psi too. Not sure if it would make a difference

No, I have mine at 120psi. They can go up to 160psi but the advise not to do that. They install high pressure hose & fittings/connectors. 80psi is really good for a tap!
