I've a couple of issues if someone would care to indulge me. I've assembled my 4040 RO yesterday and I'm not getting the quite the rejection rate I was expecting the starting tds is 278 and once is came out the RO I've managed to get it down to 12 at the lowest after running it for a couple of hours but coming back to it today I've only managed to get it to 20 and that was after flushing and tweaking with the RO pure/rejection rate again with it currently being about 40/60. Secondly, I attached the water to the resin vessel which has been filled about 3 quarters full with new resin and the tds post deionisation was 4, after about 20 minutes it jumped up to 7 and I've no clue why. The vessel is one that I've bought refurbished if that could possibly make a difference? any help would be appreciated.
