I use soft rubber In winter and hard in summer. Only do this as read that's what you do. I get on better with soft (unger) rubber. Can you use this all year round or is it best to use hard in hotter weather?

To be honest mate I don't know. I just read once you use soft in the winter and hard in the summer (warmer). So I always have done for 4 years now but don't know why. I prefer soft. (sounds pornographic this with soft and hard lol)

So it makes no difference at all. You can use soft all year round. Prefer unger me self but that's prob coz always used it. Never tried anything else so can't comment. Believe if you like and get on with somet why change. But will now keep using soft all year round. Cheers mark.

i always use unger 3star, in between the hard/soft. i find the harder the more it judders, softer wears quick, so i find the 3star gives a good middle ground.

I've always used soft but am going to give hard a try this summer. I don't do much trad but wanted to try a hard one lol /emoticons/wink.png

Soft In my oppinion. Hard is horrible to use.

Yeah I agree. Soft is much better and glad you can use it all year round

soft ettore all year. only thing i find is i usually cant use the other side - cloth wiping seems to wear it down. But i get a good couple months anyway for what - 3 quid.

Cloth wiping wears what down? Why u wipe rubber?

I don't wipe my rubber either. My squeegees actually stay in my bucket of water when travelling. Never wipe em.
