I had a really quite time in my youth according to you lot..

yeh posh I do remember the rule if your spare was bald you failed but if you didnt carry a spare you passed..

my mate for some reason went out in canary yellow pants and we took the **** out of him all night.....especially...

when i did a streak as he laughed that much the trousers went a bit more yellow../emoticons/biggrin.png

oh the golden days of youth..

I remember in the 80s me & my mate had a little gardening business. We use a mini traveler estate to ca our lawn mowers about. It was due an mot & had bald tyres. Our mate had a mini so we borrowed his tyres got it through mot & swapped em back. Imagine doing that now.

I reckon that whole generation was the same all over the country in the 80's. No mobile phones, no CCTV, no ID for pubs. It was all off the cuff.

Technically i am still banned from every whsmith in the country

But nowadays it would be a trip down the station
