I was watching the window cleaner this morning pull up and clean the neighbours across the road. Older guy who was continuously out of breath.

He was using a Trolley system and started with the upstairs windows, he gave them a good scrub but never rinsed off at all. When he came to the downstairs windows, again he scrubbed well but never rinsed either but got his scrim out did some detailing instead. He spent a good minute wiping each window.

Thought it was a bit weird to be honest.

He might have been rinsing on the glass. Dunno about detailing with a scrim though

he could be doing what I do ..due to limited water:rolleyes:I dont actually clean the frames at all....just the glass but as you know you will get splashes on the the frame and leaving them is chancy as you may get spotting afterwards...so I do go around and take any drips off and wipe the frames sills at the same time....

he was using a trolley and water is like gold dust to us trolley users..
