Strengthen angle adapter connection.

    This is how we have put bottom half of angle adapter (with standard smaller teeth) on pole so we can have a QL.
    Take notice how it is reinforced.
    It gives you strength no side movement.

    Here this is what happen to the last angle adapter .
    Although I am heavy handed with most of the tools including the pole.
    That is why I reinforce it.
    Here are photo of each side of the angle adapter.

    You do like to get the most out of your kit as I would have just replaced it myself and not bothered to reinforce it.:thumbsup:

    Yes Smuf ; Your probable right in replacing it.
    However if they (manufacturer) somehow strengthen that weak point where this break was you would not have to DIY.
    As said before I'm heavy handed.
    If you have a few people working for you they would give the tools a hammering as well.
    So if a manufacturer made a heavy duty angle adapter you would not constancy be buying them.
    Maybe an cast aluminium same size as original one?
    Not like the Unger's big cumbersome aluminium adapter.
    (Just thinking out a loud) LOL
