Hi folks, another soft question from a Newbie
Although my backpack has a tap fitted im thinking of attaching a tap to the pole hose for easier access
However does anyone know if the pump on my backpack will suffer any ill effects from me shutting off the water without turning the pump off ?

We all use big boys here and nope it will be fine.

We did the same on other WCW backpacks for nearly 2 years each.

Only thing i would do is turn it off if left for say 30mins or longer.

I have a shurflo backpack and use a tap. works fine.

most backpacks are normaly used for chemicals and they would have a trigger tap on the lance, so most backpacks would be ok to add a tap
