depends, some people in certain areas might not like it, like the posh stuck up people.

as long as the person looks smartly dressed etc would be fine. coz they have tats dont mean they cant clean!

I personally look at a cleanliness of a person knocking, do they look smart, like they take the job seriously.
Tattoo's aren't something that bother me, but it can and does affect peoples choices so although I wouldn't tell you to hide who you are, I would say that making sure other area's look professional, footwear, hair, clothes etc. would be something more of a necessity for door knocking.

That's more less what I wanted to hear. Guess ill keep a long sleeve on when I knock on the stuck up mine u they may get a shock when I clean coz there's no way a long sleeve staying on in this sun lol but I'm hoping by then it's to late and there in my list. And as long as a good job I smile fingers crossed I won't get the tin tac after the first clean haha

Some people just prejudge you as soon as they see you have tattoos if you're going door knocking I would personally cover them up (apart from the ones you cant) and also I wouldn't say you would loose a job because of a tattoo
but say if you're cleaning a house in the street and people see you have them you could look unapproachable so they might not ask you if you want to clean their windows.

However, my dad has tattoos and he has been a window cleaner for 15+ years and it didn't affect him that much and he has swallow tattoos on his hands

Never held me up, Got one from forearm onto hand, and on wrists.. People even want to chat about them. mainly to ask why o why did you have that lol.

I never knocked doors though so cant comment on that, slowly built up through flyers then recommendation, once they know you its always down to personality and quality of work.
