Telling the water company

    Hi all, well I'm up and running now and looking to go full time after Christmas where do you guys stand in informing the water company regarding the use of water? Im getting mixed messages/advise

    to be fair i am a hybrid windy so dont use much water and am paying £60 a month for water ....

    Just had a water bill for £300. It costs me £600 a year on a meter.

    How much would you say you use per day for work Tuffers?

    Some days up to 400L, other days less. No RO, so no waste water.

    I can think of no reason why you would have to inform them.

    I use 300l plus waste 5 days a week for 3 and a half years. Im yet to tell the water company lol

    I'm shocked at what some people pay for water mind. Ours is less than £200 a year for as much as I like. No domestic water meters in Scotland though.:thumbsup:

    they will contact you, asking if you have any leaking pipes etc, considering the higher than usual consumption, at least that's what happened with me
