As the title says, how do you fit this, the pole itself isn't a problem it's the hose, Do I need to disconnect at the brush head where it split into two or somewhere else please folks ?

Is your pole hose going to be long enough for your extension? If you have any spare hose lying around connect it to your existing hose using a John Guest straight connector http://gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/all-products/pump-hose/john-guest-fittings/metric-fittings/push-fit-8mm-to-8mm-straight-connector-in-black.html and a barbed John Guest http://gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/all-products/pump-hose/john-guest-fittings/metric-fittings/john-guest-8mm-stem-to-6mm-barb.html

Or buy a longer length of hose?
