Terminology please

  1. Hi, what do you call the metal bit at the top of the pole, with the thread and the hole for hose?

    I would call that an 'alloy pole tip'

    Is it matter of two part resin and shim for fixing to pole?

    It depends which pole you are using as to whether this will fit. We do a version that quick release clamps into the top of our poles and works with our 'Hose-Through' gooseneck range. This could also be glued in to a non-quick release topped pole - It has an Outer Diameter of 19.3mm - this may or may not be suitable for your needs - Alloy Quick-Release Top Adapter - Pole Fittings - Goosenecks & Pole Fittings - Water-Fed Poles - All Products Gardiner Pole Systems
     
  6. Cheers. Is there enough room for me to drill an angled hole for hose to feed through? The internal diameter is about 19 mm so could be made to fit. It's an old ionics ergo lite, that I'm about to take a saw to.
