Hello all.
I wanted to get an upholstery cleaner / carpet cleaner for some time but didn't want to spend silly money on new just so I could clean work van seats and the odd emergency spillage stain removal job.
I was looking at the karcher and Numatic George machines but thought i could easily build my own for less.
Build details
Homebase Ozito 1250w wet vac
Numatic clone handheld upholstery tool
A few metres of clear 8mm hose
Generic 12v flow controller
Geneic 12v 50 psi diaphragm pump
Tesco basic white chopping board
12v 3 amp power supply unit
Black ABS project enclosure
The benefits of my system is that the upholstery cleaner parts all work alongside a standard dry & wet vac so I have a fully serviceable and usable vac without all the upholstery tooling and hoses permanently attached to it.
So I can use it with my chow saw for sawdust or suck up water from a washing machine etc
Total build cost £100 build time one hour
