Go-cardless confusion?

Can anyone currently using GC help me out please? I've signed up to GC and tried to do a test payment from my dads bank account into my newly set up GC account but it will only give me the option of weekly or monthly payment intervals. My round is on a rota of 4 weekly so quite often I'm back cleaning some ones windows within the same month. Is there an option I'm missing? I'm desperate to sign up my customers as over 95% of them are very keen to sign up plus after over 20 years of evening collections I'm eager to call it a day! Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

Sounds like you're trying to set up a subscription, instead click on the customer you want to charge (your dad in this case) then at the top click the 'Create' drop down menu and then hit payment and you can charge a one off payment for that customer.
