Resin bottle to polish

H

Hunty

Hi all,

I buy my water, it's a zero when I buy, sometimes bouncing 1-0.

I was thinking of buying a small resin bottle to polish the water, is this a waste of money or a good way forward do you think?

I am guessing that the resin would not need to be changed often if it's at 0-1?

Many thanks for the replies as always.

if your buying it in at 000ppm then then its rising to that in your system then you have a dirty system.

000ppm will stay 000ppm for years. unless its put in a dirty container.

or you have a tds meter that out and not giving a true reading

Wow 10 is very high,

My tds is ok, so is tank it's the source that water is 0-1 so just wondering if polishing the water is a good idea, it won't hurt to go through a resin bottle will it?

I wouldnt worry hunty ! My buddy cleans and sells water at 3 PPM . Know a guy that had cleaned for years at 8 PPM . No spots even in direct sunlight .. I harvest rain at 12 , then DI in van to 0 .

i have cleaned at 120 ppm ...

I mistakenly filled van with waste water

We had to go round with ladders and scrub the glass to remove stains - what a dumbass
