Rectus 21 fittings. Strong........

........enough to take the pulling out of 100 meters of hose ? 

Just wondering if they (or the EZ Snap variant) are strong enough to take the pulling of a lot of hose, round corners, tugging etc on their connections?

Don't tug on them then...you will bugger up the strongest of fittings at the weakest point or eventually pull the fitting from the hose.

When I first started wfp I was naively pulling the pole hose from the reel before I eventually knackered the rectus fitting and had to fit a new one.....you live and learn as they say.

I find dragging the fittings around on the ground is damaging it more than tugging the hose.

They have a certain life span, mine have lastede for 1.5 years and are due for a change soon. They don't leak but don't go together that easily any more. A small expense if you ask me.. still, taking good care of your gear is always a good idea.
