Want a composite/hybrid pole to replace my Unger Nlite Aluminium thing...

Seems to be a toss up between the two of these:

New Water Genie Barracuda 22ft Hybrid Pole

    PhoeniX MkII 'PRO' Hybrid

Anybody got these, or have conveniently tried out both? Price wise they're quite similar for 22ft, but the Baraccuda comes with a brush and goose neck (although I do have these and will alternate with the Unger one as I find it excellent) and the Phoenix needs an additional £30 odd to make it equal.

I only use gardiner poles . (slx as daily poles) because they take the beating we give them everyday , day in day out and they last use around a year and a half before we bin them

we never clean them , never look after them , bend them in two shutting windows , we don't care if we catch them on the side of buildings when cleaning out of the way windows , alex would die if he ever seen what we did with them but yet they have never let us down once and that's what you need to thing about above what ever else

Yeah you are one of many that use those. Every time I've looked they aren't in stock so I gave up trying!

Not yet, however im borrowing a mates for a couple of jobs, ive used the pole on a gutter clean over a conny, plus the conny roof today, was a challenge as i used the whole 27ft and it is a bit flexible like that, but usable once you get used to it. Plus its a good price.
