Is This Good For Hot Water?

WCF

Help Support WCF:

Hi, I use an aquarium heater. They are really good for what I want, which is lukewarm water and not hot. I have to have mine on for around 12 hours for it to be lukewarm and by the end of the working day it still hasn't gone really cold. It's good for keeping the hoses a bit more supple too. They can usually be set to heat the water between 20-34 degrees. Economical to run....12 hours x 300w = 3.6kwh

12p a kwh = 43p a night.

i use an immersion element and cost less than £2 a night, turn off about 8 am and still have steam coming off windows around 2 ish, when running out of water, i set the temp to 65
