ladder mitts (5).jpg Are the ladder mitts on the right place on window ledge? Also, I the mitts get pushed off when you try slide the ladder parts into each other as there's not enough room in the gap (2nd picture).ladder mitts (1).jpg

I did the same, stuck mine on cos I kept getting them snagged and they'd fall off.....you have to level the ladders extended by one rung when you transport them etc.

My ladders very rarely get used so I put them on as and when needed stored in cubby above my front seat.

Ladder mitts make the ladder safer, don't they? I mean they slide less on the sills, how about on brickwork ?

I have used ' werner' ladder mitts for years now ( although most of my work is now pole fed). I did originally buy the orange/red ones every window cleaning supplier seems to stock, but found that on most standard trade ladders that most of us use, that they simply didn't fit properly( they always seemed to be too loose?) So after searching the net for an age I found the Werner ones I use now, they are absolutely brilliant and I couldn't recommend them enough, they are a proper snug fit on all trade ladders that I've used over the years an all I ever done is gaffer tape them tightly to the ladder tops and leave the ladders one rung up ( when on my van rack ). Anyway enough said, if you need good snug an hard wearing ladder mitts look no further.
