    Do you guys mention to your insurer about your water tank in modification/accessories section?

    Put it this way you should tell them as they might not pay out if you need to make a claim.

    Most will only make a small adjustment to your premium if any at all. Definitely better to be safe than sorry!

    Just talked to direct line, who told me they can't insure me because of the water tank in the back...
    Budget Insurance also turned me down because of the water tank.

    AVIVA is the winner: they only increased the excess because of the water tank. They are ~400 quid more expensive, but still quite affordable.
