    Hi there,
I have got a brodex 50 l trolley and I have just fitted a digitalflow controller to it to conserve water. Before hand the water that came out was pulsating out instead of flowing out like a tap. I thought buying a flow controller would fix this problem but it hasn't. Cause it pulses out my rinsing takes longer. I also have a backpack and the water flows out which is good but it comes out that little bit too fast. Dose anyone know what I might be missing to make the water flow out instead of pulsate.

Another thing. Does anyone know how I would go about declaring water usage without going on a water meter?

the pulsating is it presuring up then droping etc, try to turn the flow up till it stops doing this, also it could mean there is a water leak somewhere.

you can buy a water meter that you can fit to a hosepie or before your ro so that will tell you how much u use,

No it pulsates to find the right pressure without the flow controller. But it does the same with the flow controller. I just want it to come out like a tap flow or like my back pack so rinsing is quicker and effective.

I'll be using quite a bit of water especially cos I use an ro unit. I make about 300 ltr for a days work at the mo but want to make more. Cos of waste water I double that amount to roughly find the amount of water I use , is there not a commercial type contract agreement?

    Thanks for your reply.

when ever i have had that problem with pumps its always been either one of those things.

there is a commercial rates on water, but they seem to cost more. im on a water meter and use an ro, tell you the truth, i hardly notice the diffrence in price, it costs me around £2 for 1000lts on my meter,

I wish it was that problem , then u would've saved the day. Soz. It doesn't struggle to come out it just pulsates really quickly. Do u think I need a plumber. Lol.

Really? I have heard nothing but curse words about water meters. But then they are just home users.

    Thank again for replying

problem will be pressure switch on pump, turn on trolley and what should happen is pump stops and starts as the water drop (might be a slight delay) if it is doing this lower the flow control and it should stop it as the pump should run all the time,

if it is stil doing it them the flow controll might need recalibrating, set it to 30,

I've got it calibrated to 35. And flow rate 10. About a litre a min. it's wired to the pump and battery that's it. Have I missed something out ?

1-99. That's flow rate. Not calibration.
