best way to do this windows?

What would be the best way to clean this window, its right next to a cable but its a electric cable not phone cable - an im guessing its live and which ever method WFP or traditional you only need a little drip an you in trouble? The bit near the house is bear metal cable so it would be live wouldn't it?

Any thoughts?

Just put the ladder on or under the sill and carry on as normal. Use ladder mitts or a couple of old socks so you dont mark the sils though.

To be honest I wouldn't even think twice about it.

As tolish said ladder up, clean & down.

Got loads I do where I have to duck under them.

I've never given a second thought if they were live or not.

What happens when rain gets on it?????

I don't think they are power cables

I have whacked them with my pole accidentally

the base section of all poles have fibreglass in them to stop it being conductive, i think

The whole of my pole is fibreglass lol

Soon changing to one of mr Gardiners fine products though as fed up with going to the gym then having a 2nd workout while cleaning

I'm a big boy and can handle my pole easily but working with Damo sometimes is a dream with an slx 22 and various extremes

Then the thought of using mine is depressing lol
