    hi can any 1 help me does any 1 no if i can put a 400l framed tank in my citroen berling multispace and not be over weight

    the bigest tank u could fit is a 500l ide say thats ur limite theres lots of berlingos in my nec of the woods with 500l tanks in

    I got a peugeot partner and pulls easy with a 350l tank.upgrading after as to a 500l and still under my max load weight

    check the weight your axle can take, that is the only way to know for sure, will no doubt be on your log book.

    I've got a HDi 800, that pulls all day with 650l in it.

    It`s not a question of engine power, it`s a question of

    1, it being dangerous to you and others when you can`t stop or manoeuvre properly.

    2, massive fine if you look overloaded and police decide to pull you.

    3, possible damage to your vehicle and then your not working are you.

    Mine isn't overloaded, with me, swmbo, full tank (650l), 2 backpacks full, 100m reel, 3 poles and all my trad gear, full tank of fuel and a few other bits and bobs is 50kg under it's gross weight.

    As far as I can remember, Citroen Slough technical dept advised me that a 2002 Multispace had a payload of 450kgs.
    The rear suspension is 'softer' than the 600LX as it was built for comfort rather than load carrying capacity. It isn't a van, so to be sure, you must contact them with your vehicle details.

    Thanks Gus going 2 get a 350l with di built in no wouries then about water can just fill up lol
