Got my gardiners backpack and pole, gonna try and do my first house tomorrow it's leaded, can I treat it the same way as I would an unleaded window? I've washed and bladed the excess water off and scrimmed this house for years, will I encounter any problems chaps? Any tips, advice etc?

As long as the lead is in good order and it's a good quality soft ish brush just treat it as a normal unleaded house

Take lots of water so that you can give it a deep clean & long rinse at the end :)

are they proper leaded windows or the stick on lead type. If they are real lead windows i clean leaded windows on large listed buildings DO NOT push hard you will bow the window or push the glass segments out and they are not cheap to replace.

One tip I fine on leaded is to go side to side with the brush in stead of up n down just seems easer to me.

dont use a stiff brush as some times the edges of that stick on lead can look like they have loads of cut marks along the edges.

Some stick on lead comes away from the glass after a while doing them WFP. Keep an eye on them.
